Tong Yang Group devoted over 50 years to research, development and sales of automotive body parts. By now TYG has become the largest group in the automotive industry, specializing in the production of plastic and metal parts of the car body. Tong Yang Group (TYG) emerged in 1952 from a plant for the production of plastic parts for bicycles, in 1967 the production program was added with spare parts for motorcycles, and in 1976 the factory began to produce parts for automobiles.
Today it is the largest manufacturing group in Taiwan, which includes more than a dozen of the largest factories in China, Taiwan, Thailand, as well as plants in the United States (Texas) and in Italy. TYG produces body parts for most European, Japanese and American cars. All products are certified with ISO 9000/9002. The factory producing car body parts was established in 1972. Now it has an area of 53,263 square meters with the number of personnel of 320 people. About 90% of the operations are performed by automatics. In 1997, the Company was certified as SO9002, and in 1998 - ISO9000. The TYG distribution network is spread in more than 100 countries in North and South America, Europe, Japan, Middle East, Australia, South Africa and South-East Asia. Attention of the development and research center is constantly focused on innovation in technology and materials. This work has led to the fact that the CAPA (Certified Automotive Parts Association) awarded TYG with the title of the “Maximum compliance with the CAPA latest standards of quality”. TYG has been awarded with the status of Ford Q1 Quality Supplier (a supplier of quality parts for Ford cars). The Group has a certificate of ISO 14001.
TYG produces as follows: mirrors, front panels, radiator enclosures, front and rear bumpers, cooling fans, subframes, full wheel covers, overfenders, splash boards, moldings, dashboards, headlights, taillights, fog lights, decorative door panels, etc.
